The working group for experimental astroparticle physics of Prof. David Berge at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is engaged in the gamma-ray telescope system H.E.S.S., preparations for the CTAO gamma-ray observatory, as well as ULTRASAT, a future UV survey satellite mission. In close collaboration with DESY, the group is advertising a postdoctoral researcher position to work on the commissioning campaign of the CTAO Medium-Sized Telescope (MST) pathfinders to be deployed in Chile. Specifically, the candidate shall work in the areas of performance measurements, data analysis and simulation models.

Besides focusing on the MSTs, the successful candidate can pursue further research activities in the portfolio of the group, for example as part of the H.E.S.S. collaboration.
